Caring for your Hair Exten-sion is crucial when it comes down to longevity of the product.To avoid the hair from splitting, tangling drying out, you must care for it just like you would with your own hair by cleansing, treating and replenishing.
Hair Care & Maintenance
- Brush your hair 2 to 3 times a day
- Wait 24 to 48 hours from application before washing hair. Brush hair before wash.
- Use good quality sulfate free shampoo and hydrating conditioner. DO NOT lather the hair in big sweeping motions as this can cause tangling. Never wash or flip your hair upside down.
- Don't overdo too much hair care products which can cause build up and tangling.
- Stay away from products containing alcohol,oil or ethanol, as these ingredients make hair dry and could compromise the adhesive or keratin tips on your exten-sions.
- Gently tie up or braid your hair before bed to prevent tangling.
- When using heat tools,protect your extensions with a thermal styling life of your extensions, so be cautious with the use of blow dryers, curling irons near the root area where the extensions are installed.
- Wash hair after working out or swimming. (Sweat causes dirt build up & sunscreen can discolor your hair)
- Always seek a professional stylist to remove or re-apply the extensions
